This page contains a map of the cemetery layout, which is designed to help with locating particular graves.
This map of the cemetery shows the layout of the graves, by section.
Here is an example: For a grave with a number – say 5/7/9 – the 5 indicates the section (Div), the 7 indicates the number of rows across and the 9 indicates the plot (i.e. number of graves from the top of the section). When counting the graves, a double grave counts as 2 plots.
If you aren't sure where a particular grave is located, The Friends of Padiham Cemetery have access to the church records and will be very happy to help you with your search. Just go to our 'Contact Us' page and send us a message with as many details as you have.
If you have a family grave in the cemetery but are unable to visit, we can offer a service where we can place flowers or wreaths on your loved ones graves for a small fee to cover our cost. Alternatively, we can send you a photograph of the headstone, or area where the grave is (not all graves have headstones). A small donation to help with the cost of our web-site would be much appreciated
Again, just go to our 'Contact Us' page and send us a message with the details and we will contact you to arrange payment and discuss your needs.
